I had a setback in the process of trying to get a print version of this available, unfortunately. I'm still working on it, but we're probably looking at another month or more before that version will be available.

The update is really appreciated, thanks.

The short version: the original PDF I sent for the print interior got corrupted somehow, and when I went to render the replacement, I ran into this problem (link to the bug report thread I started on the Affinity forum): Lines created with Pen tool rendering weird all of a sudden.

Once I get an answer on that, I should hopefully be able to do a fresh render and hopefully that one will work. If I have to do the rasterizing work-around, that will be pretty labor-intensive, so I'm hoping there's something simpler.

Also: I have started on some of the work on MMV2 (yes, I'm working on the Spells from the Forgotten Vault sequel and the next Multiclasser's Manual volume at the same time like a crazy person). Current class combos include fighter/warlock, bard/cleric, druid/rogue, berserker/fighter, and adept/herald. There will be quite a few more (around 30-35 total) but those ones are designed and I'm working on the build advice and lore combos for them now.

Colour me intrigued. Druid/rogue and adapt/herald are both combos I really want to work and often don't quite gel.

Adept/Herald is definitely a tough one. You really want four ability scores at decent levels, but the flavor is so compelling!

I mean, flurry of smiting fists!

Some kind of third class's feature bleeding in or something?
Yeah, something along those lines.
IMO in a purely systemic approach there should always be a way to use a feature from one class using a power source from another, with an efficiency loss commensurate to how far away those classes are. We see an example of this in a5e with how the herald powers maneuvers converting spell slots to exertion, in oe5+Tasha where many classes can use Channel Divinity to regain spell slots.

Imagine something like a 'rage mage' berserker/wizard (or /sorc or /lock) that can sacrifice some benefits of rages to gain spell slots or similar features, or vice versa to burn spell slots to gain additional rage usages or empower rage with magic. EG a berserker/sorcerer, that while raging can also burn spell points from the lock to generate a flaming aura around himself.
