I love the art by my 3.5 Draconomicon and MM. If I don't like the new look, then always I have got my 3.5 books.
Dragon art book is coming around the launch of the PHB, Gold Dragon mini is when you can access the closed beta of the VTT.So I have ordered the Core Rulebook digital bundle and I have receive the email said :
So looks like the art book and the gold dragon miniature for WotC's 3D VTT will arrived when DMG/MM is near finished.
Why can't I hold it up for everyone to see? I mean, I have two monitors, two ipads, and everyone has a phone at least. What's the use of a digital art book? Here are pretty pictures on my computer? You can't hold it up to show it to your players, you can't put it on the coffee table, and the only way to make it a desktop background is to screenshot it.
Like... I'm not sure I understand what this type of product is for at all. Maybe because I'm not an art-type person.
Digital art book is gold for a homebrewer like me - so easy to grab an image and drop it into homebrewery!Digital art book seems kind of lame. Hopefully a physical version will make it to retail at some point. It still seems weird to me that they redesigned all the dragons a couple years after Fizbans. Maybe they heard the criticism that Fizbans could have been so much better and will take another swing at a dragon book.
I can see that but it doesn’t have to be a ‘book’ form to do that.Digital art book is gold for a homebrewer like me - so easy to grab an image and drop it into homebrewery!
I'd bet it's just good old fashioned the right hand not talking to the left hand during the development process.Digital art book seems kind of lame. based on what?I'd bet it's just good old fashioned the right hand not talking to the left hand during the development process.
Fizban's came out nearly 3 years ago now (and would have been in the work since nearly 2019 probably), when they would have been in early days planning stages for the new Core books. It still seems weird to me that they redesigned all the dragons a couple years after Fizbans. Working with organizations where this kind of thing happens all the time.based on what?
