The video had me worried again though - it mentions the book comes with the digital and physical bundle, not just the digital bundle which is what I got.

The site is nebulous on that. Some pages say it's for both bundles, others that it's ONLY for the digital+physical bundle. The videos promote the d+p bundle presumably because they really want to edge out the middle-man and sell direct to consumer, at least for the standard covers.
As someone who only buys the alternate covers for my physical copies from my FLGS (for available releases), I'm very worried I'm not going to get the art book for my digital-bundle-only purchase, given that they REALLY want people to go all in buying from D&D Beyond.

I want you to be right, very much so! I want that artbook, but not so much that I'm buying a fourth physical trio of 5e core rulebooks (2014, alt art 2018, and having preordered the alt art 2024 books from my FLGS).

The page for the product changed on me during check out as well. But I'm glad I'm in the clear now and will get the digital book for my preorder. The whole mixed messaging really was confusing, and not just for me.

To make it more confusing, I order each book separately as it was the same price as the digital bundle. Then I heard about the art book and tried to get the bundle - and it says I already own the books! Not sure what that means. I will wait and see I guess!
