Caverns of Thracia Returns! Now live!

Not being owned by WotC makes it hard. Honestly, while there are stuff that's historic -- Palace of the Vampire Queen, the first published D&D adventure, for instance -- of the high profile stuff, it's really just Judges Guild or Flying Buffalo stuff left, IMO.

There's a new rights holder for Flying Buffalo who claims they're going to be re-releasing the Citybooks, etc., so those are out (at least until the new rights holder sells them off). And Judges Guild is challenging as long as the younger Bledsaws hold onto those properties, which are declining in value to anyone other than, realistically, Goodman Games.

If they could somehow purchase the Judges Guild catalog, the City-State of the Invincible Overlord, the Wilderlands of HIgh Fantasy and some of the classic adventures, like Tegal Manor, seem like a lock.

But barring either of those happening, I would not be surprised if OAR goes dormant after Caverns of Thracia.
They could also do more Lankhmar. Especially since they haven’t done much with it for 5E.

The pledges for the books are terrible if you live in the USA. They rapidly go up on Amazon at a discount, they have a code for a free pdf in the book and you get free shipping. They also don’t have a clean all the new stuff 5e and DCC pledge that does not include t-shirts and dice and other things.
Yes but I am finding that true of most crowd funding now. Used to be the other way around but now it is much cheaper to wait for these things to come to retail or be discounted after production during sales on the companies websites.

Where are the codes for PDFs in the Amazon copies? I never noticed codes in mine afaik.

Quite interested in picking this up. Castle Amber surprisingly has way too much stuff in it but I do love the variety in allowing me to pick and choose what I run or not; plus, I'd love to see the original and what Jennell produced, so I am looking forward to picking up the book combo (and migrate this to PF2e to run eventually).

Can anyone speak on the other content included? I know some of this is new to this bundle, but it sounds some of the content is also content being ported from previous editions. I'd love to know how much it'd be worth to spend the extra money to get all in the 5e bundle.
