D&D 5E Dragonix's Deadly Denizens has been unleashed at DriveThruRPG!

July 2024 Legendary Tier Art Preview #4. Last month someone requested a high-level melee NPC. And because we've seen Warduke from the updated DMG recently, I figure I create something inspired by him using Dean Spencer's reinvention, but in the context of being a commander - a Fell Warlord to be exact. A fell warlord is an embodiment of pure malice and tyranny, commanding legions with an iron fist and a heart blackened by countless acts of cruelty. This sinister figure is draped in spiked armor that seems to absorb the very light around it, with eyes that burn a malignant red, casting a chilling aura over the battlefield. Unlike other war leaders, the fell warlord's presence brings dread and despair, as it is known to sacrifice anything and anyone to secure victory.

This NPC will come at CR 7, 12, and 17, with the CR 12 and 17 versions bringing Legendary Actions with them!

Deadly Denizens July 2024 Tier Art Preview #5. The bronze golem stands an imposing 9 feet tall, resembling a heavily armored warrior armed with a massive sword. Instead of rusting, bronze develops a greenish patina over time, which grants the golem resistance to acid. This bronze golem fills the difficulty gap between a flesh golem and a clay golem, but it also comes with CR 10 and CR 14 variations. It can emit a caustic gas that can cause blindness and isn't easily removed as you will soon find out in its stats.

Deadly Denizens August Art Preview #1. August is Aberration Month! The Aberration Template finally arrives with the August issue and the first preview features the aberrant wyvern! The Aberrant template will be a little different from the previous templates I've made. When you create an aberrant creature, you apply a primary aberrant trait and a secondary trait. There will be several traits to choose from when you create your own aberrant creatures!

Deadly Denizens Volume II August Art Preview #2. Here's the 2nd art preview for Aberration August! Today I'm featuring the Aberrant Oni, which, like the wyvern, was one of your top requests (from a Patreon poll) to be part of the Aberrant Template lineup! As mentioned in the first preview, aberrant will always have one primary aberrant trait and one secondary aberrant trait. In the case of this oni, it has a Cyclopean eye as its primary trait and the Octopedal as the secondary trait. Cyclopean eye gives the creature an additional gaze attack (you can pick what kind of gaze attack or roll randomly) and Octopedal gives it Spider Climb.
