Sorcerer article is up: https://www.dndbeyond.com/posts/1769-2024-sorcerer-vs-2014-sorcerer-whats-new
Not just boring ... probably not super relevant. If I've got Subtle Spell ... I don't need to be applying that in the midst of a battle I've got my Sorcererous Rage up! I was hoping Sorcerers would get 3 starting Metamagics.Only 2 metamagic till level 10. I hate that. Their level 7 feature is so boring for 3 levels.
The lvl 7 feature also lets you spend 2 sorcery points to activate you "Sorcerers Rage" if you have no uses left. To me that is the core part of the feature. At level 7 you now have 10 sorcery points so you can afford to keep your main feature active for 4 combats a day without feeling a pinch on your resources. Not just boring ... probably not super relevant. That's fair. The double Metamagics won't really kick in until after level 10 anyway, and more uses is goodThe lvl 7 feature also lets you spend 2 sorcery points to activate you "Sorcerers Rage" if you have no uses left. Draconic sorcerers now get 10+Dex+CHA for AC.
