Omak Darkleaf
Oath of Sloth
The game began well. We had four straight sessions or so before the DM began cancelling on us, and his attendance only grew slowly worse—it wasn't a sudden shift. He was a fun DM with a cool take on 5e; I loved the setting; and, DM aside, we had six players who always showed up (and on time no less). The game had a lot going for it, and the session that I wrote about was the first time that the DM had blown us off versus cancelling in advance. That was the real game changer. If your DM showed up that infrequently and the rest of you didn't just start a new game without him you are far more tolerant than I would have been.
