Welcome to the Bundles, Freebies, and Sales News, the weekly column at EN World that helps make sure you don’t miss out on big tabletop RPG bundles, charity fundraisers, and sales from around the internet.
Freebies and Pay What You Want
Note: While “Pay What You Want” downloads are available for free, please support the creators if you are able!
Starting here on EN World, Roll for Combat released an April Fools download for BattleZoo Ancestries Fusions, a set of rules to combine Pathfinder 2e and 5th Edition with new heritages, ancestries, VTT tokens, and more.
Paizo also published the new sourcebook Starfinder: THE GAP, finally offering a canonical explanation for the years in between the fantasy setting of Pathfinder and the sci-fi inspired setting of Starfinder. April Fools, it’s blank!
Philip Reed Games also got in on the April Fools fun with Additional Treasures Nailed It, a supplement of item cards for Dragonbane of nothing but new variants of the Rusty Nail.
The April Fools fun kept going to the fan content stores as well, with Divid Poetters on Storytellers Vault releasing Bielefeld Files, a crossover adventure for Changeling: The Dreaming and Mage: The Ascension drawing together the Changelings and the Technocracy.
Not to be outdone, Pooka G and Terry Robinson also had an April Fools product for Storytellers Vault that might even be useful with the previous one as this is Sphere of Gun for Mage: The Ascension 4th Edition and 20th Anniversary Edition.
Now for something a bit more serious, D&D Beyond and Lego partnered for a tie-in adventure for the big recent Dungeons & Dragons Lego set with Red Dragon’s Tale. You can also get a free set of themed dice for D&D Beyond.
Gavin Bastiensz released The Big Blind, an adventure for Candela Obscura. Head to the Fast Hare Casino in Newfaire and uncover the mystery of an enchanting woman who just can’t seem to lose.
We’ve got another contender in the OSR sphere with Slay the Dragon! from Hexy Studio. This starter dungeon sends the adventurers into an ancient, magical ruin to brave the deadly monsters and dangerous traps for the secret treasures hidden within.
And while Freelancer RPG from Joseph Frueauf doesn’t label itself as an OSR system, a “rules-light medieval fantasy RPG” sounds close enough in spirit if not in fact at least. The game promises lethal and fast combat with no rolling to hit, easy and streamlined political intrigue, low-fantasy and rare magic, and more.
Speaking of OSR, Flooded Realm Adventure Press released Oglias’s Folley, a high-level adventure for Old School Essentials where the party is sent to the private fishing lake of an excentric wizard and his cloud giant friend.
Raging Swan Press has One-Pager: Barrowhurst, a one-page, system-neutral fantasy adventure that’s ready to run in your favorite system after adding your own stat blocks.
Fans of the classic horror comics from EC Comics or the shows they inspired like Tales from the Crypt and Creepshow will want to check out Tales from the Terror Tomb from James “The Geek”. Get ready for a macabre yet cheesy horror fest of one-shots (as you’re unlikely to survive the monsters out to get you). Warning: Like the comics and shows it’s based on, this game loves its puns.
The King of Micro RPGs Grant Howitt is back with Dogmasters of the Wasteland from Rowan, Rook & Decard. In the year 209X, you play as a Dogmaster, a mercenary custodian of a giant dog the size of a caravan. Guide your impossibly large dog from town to town and hope it doesn’t decide to bite your arm clean off.
If you’re looking to make your own RPG content but need art that is made by actual humans, kirilot aka Kiril Tchangov released a bundle of lizardmen stock art with a commercial use license. Make sure to check the terms in the product description.
Over on Dungeonmasters Guild, Nedudgi has a massive adventure from level 1 to 20 called Ysgard Thunderdome where the denizens of the Outer Plane battle for supremacy in the combat arena.
Christopher Wallace released The Terror of Daggerford, a 3rd-level adventure lasting 4-6 hours that includes seven new monsters, two new magic items, and lots of optional rules and DM advice.
The first Lightning Round this week features gamemaster/DM resources like monsters, maps, random generators, one-page adventures, drop-in encounters, and more. All products are Free or pay-what-you-want. Products I could verify were released for April Fools Day have been marked as such (though I may have missed some joke products).
The second Lightning Round features player resources like classes, subclasses, backgrounds, feats, races/species, and more. All products are Free or pay what you want with the suggested price in parentheses. Products I could verify were released for April Fools Day have been marked as such (though I may have missed some joke products).

The Ponyfinder Foundry Complete Bundle includes the Ponyfinder Campaign Setting plus the sourcebooks Ponyfinder: Tribes of Everglow, Princess Luminance’s Guide to the Pony Pantheon, and Ponyfinder: The Best of the Best all set up for the Foundry VTT so that everypony can jump into the realm of Everglow right away.
