We went back to the woods and searched for the wood elves till they found us. I had a collection of heirloom elven arrows as a gift and we soon came to terms. The Duke will be allowed to harvest wood and material as long as they follow the elven way. The elves will be tentative allies. All we have to do is face the common threat of a Bugbear army and Giants……

That lighting looks great. And yikes, that is some close quarters, enough to make the wizard very nervous I bet.

We were headed to scope out the Ogres/Gaints in the wilderness, and got lost. Wildmen hunted us but we managed to talk to them. They liked that we defeated bugbears and owlbears earlier. (yes that's our DM laughing while showing us the giants he prepared, we haven't met them yet, maybe not ever now (gulp)).
So we got advice to find an ancient road to find our bearings. We didn't, we found ruins instead and giant wasps! Our little halfling paladin was one sting away and dead. Rest in peace you little one clad in meatal, whatever your name was. (I tease).
